1. THE TRIUNE GOD: We believe in one God, eternally existent in Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each with personality and deity, equal in power and glory with distinct and harmonious roles. (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10, 46:9; 1 Cor. 8:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Lk. 3:22; John 1:1, John 14:16-26)
2. JESUS CHRIST: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and that He is true God and true man. We believe in His virgin birth into human flesh, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in the work of salvation for us through His substitutionary death and His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father in heaven as King, and His second coming, which will be personal, visible, and glorious. (Isa. 7:14; Col. 2:19; John 1:1-18; 1 Tim. 2:15; Rom. 5:8; Jn. 20:1-18; Acts 1:11, Acts 4:12; I Cor.15:3-4)
3. THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, equal in substance and majesty with the Father and the Son. He is present upon the earth today to convict people of sin, to regenerate, infill, empower, guide, and be a counselor and advocate. At salvation, each believer is baptized into the Spirit. All that the Holy Spirit does is consistent with Christ, and His sovereign will is to glorify Christ. Every believer should seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit enabling them to live out Christ’s life and values. (John 16:7-15, Eph. 5:18. Rom. 8)
4. THE BIBLE: We believe in the Scriptures as the divinely inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts, and the supreme and final authority for life and truth. These Scriptures consist of the Old and New Testaments. (Matt. 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Heb. 4:12; Ps 119:105)
5. MAN: We believe people were created in the image of God as a unique creation of God but fell from a state of righteousness through disobedience; therefore, all are alienated from God, sinful by nature, and unable to save themselves. All people everywhere stand in need of the grace of God and the atonement provided by the death of Christ. (Gen. 1-3, Rom. 5:12, Rom. 3:23)
6. JUSTIFICATION: We believe that justification is the gift of God received by faith in Christ alone, not the result of works or human merit. The saving grace of God not only justifies, but regenerates, whereby the believer is given new life, adopted into the family of God, and completely forgiven. Where salvation is genuine, it will be manifested in the new life of the believer. (John 1:12; Jn. 14:6; Eph. 2:8, 9, I John 1:9, II Cor. 5:17. Rom. 5:1-2, 8:1)
7. SANCTIFICATION: We believe sanctification is the on-going transformation of fallen nature into the image of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, received through faith and abiding in Jesus Christ. (John 15, I Thess. 5:23, Rom. 6-8 Gal. 5:19-21)
8. THE FUTURE: The Lord God will dwell with His people forever. (John 5:28, 29; 2 Thess. 1:8-9; 2 Peter 2:17; Col. 3:4; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 John 3:1-3; Rev. 19-22)
9. THE CHURCH: We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of followers of Jesus. The Church is God’s agent in reaching the lost with the gospel and equipping and discipling Christ followers. The church will observe both the Lord’s Supper and Baptism. (Eph. 4:11-16, Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; I Cor. 12:13, Eph. 1:22, 23, I Cor. 11:22-34, Matt. 28:19)
